Super Lather( Molton Brown/Bronnley)

This morning I tried a small sample of Molton Brown's new recharge black pepper shave oil with a sample of Bronnley sir james in a mug and vdh boar brush. It was very impressive and very well conditioning. It gave a great shave.

Has anyone tried either?

I'm responding almost a year late as my search shows this as the only post that mentions Molton Brown's black pepper shave oil. I recently bought it after the sales lady sold me on the fact that it won a grooming award from Men's Health.

I used this in lieu of cream or soap. I have to say: this stuff is incredible! I used it with an unprepped face and got no nicks, no irritation, and an incredibly smooth shave. This will be in my rotation long after many of my high end soaps and creams are no longer on my shelf.

I use a lot of Molton Brown products, but have not used the shave oil. I have the Black Pepper cologne and bath soap. The Black Pepper line is amazing. I'll have to look at an order of this once my TH shave oil runs out.

If you search for shave oil generally you will find lots of stuff. Different brands, but they all seem to be fairly similar.
