Summer Gardening/Cooking/Dining

Can't beat the summer for the freshest of ingedients.

From the backyard, arugula, garlic, filet beans & tomatoes.

From the farmers market, eggs, strip loin steak, baby potatoes and shallots, Rocquefort cheese & Italian Balsamic Vinegar, sweet corn.

Daughter was working on Naxos earlier this summer and brought home a bottle of the local Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Mix it all up and...

Arugula Salad with charred onion & tomatoes, Rocquefort cheese & grilled steak drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, freshly ground pepper and coarse sea salt.

Cold Potato/Filet Bean Salad with hard cooked eggs & Balsamic Vinegrette.

Not pictured but neccessary to include in most meals while still in season is a cob of steamed/buttered corn... bliss...
