Stropping - does “when” matter?

Seems like good advice (Sticking with one soap for awhile to figure out how to best use it). Bit of a pack rat, so struggling to get rid of the Trumper’s. From the past few uses I am concluding that it does better with face lathering than mug lathering.

I strop for the morning shave the night before.

Usually give it about 20-30 after the shave just to dry the edge.

I just strop before I shave. After I shave I’ll do a few laps on strop just to dry blade before I oil and put away.
