Strange late irritation

Last Thursday I went over to my parents sauna. I had with me a new blade I had never tried: Sharp.

There I noticed the blade is not living up to its name. It could hardly cut at all my coarse beard. It had been softened by shower, steam and sweat and any blade should have cut. I normally get my best shaves at the sauna. What a dull blade!

I shaved anyway and had to add passes. Because of the good prep sauna did, I could add passes and with a lot of shaving I had a BBS.

Now it is Sunday and I have not shaved since Thursday. Today I have a burning sensation on my upper lip and it is red. Why is the irritation coming this late?

if your shave was 3 days ago and you are experiencing a burning sensation and redness on your lip only now.....my guess is it's probably not from shaving.

I've never experienced any type of irritation a day after shaving, much less 3 days.

I would consider the posibilty that it's a reaction to something else.

I concur. If you didn't have the problem for three days after shaving, then it is not caused by the shave.
