Hi guys, I picked up a straight today at an antique store, a know nothing about them. He threw it in for me. I'm away from home and can't send pics but it says (the celebrated) on the blade, p.c. Simmons St. Louis Sheffield England. On the back of the blade it's got Robt. H. Wagner 9/18/00 what do you think and is it a good razor thanks

Was there a box too?
Simmons Hardware St. Louis was an importer of razors, the early razors were imported from Sheffield, England, latter the razors were imported from Solingen Germany, and finally produced in the USA. I am not familiar with Wagner made in England however. Really can not comment on the shave-ability of the razor without pictures
