Storage Question

I now have a couple of shaves under my belt and other nicking my strop a few times I feel like everything is progressing rather well. Now I do have a question.

What do you guys do with your razor after you shave?

I keep my blades in the bathroom, where it is somewhat humid, I dry them off after use and I lay them on a dry towel to rest for the next shave. I'm am very concerned about rust or damage. Should I wipe them down, dip them in anything, what are your suggestions?

I wipe mine with real hot water first, a spray with alcohol next then wipe it down with toilet tissue to dry. Then strop it on linen and put it on top my dresser with the blade open for a day.

Rinse with hot water, dry with a soft cotton cloth and give it a few strops to make sure the edge is dry, than I put a drop of ballistol (mineral oil) on it and spread it between thumb and finger working from spine to edge.
I keep most of them outside the bathroom but usually one in the bathroom above the heater were it's warm and dry, never seen rust on my razors.

Only if you don't plan to use it anytime soon.

I dry with a microfiber or glean towel and air dry on a good shelf.

I’m stumped
I clean and dry, wipe with a piece of toilet paper inbetween the scales and the blade. Then about 20 laps on the strop to ensure the edge is dry. place them in a Silicon treated cotton sleeve from The superior shave and store on top of my bedroom dresser.

If you only have one or two razors, and they get used regularly, you probably don't need to oil. But don't keep them in your bathroom. I dry mine thoroughly, give it a quick strop, and then store it in a sock draw in my bedroom. This procedure seems to be working fine. My razors that are in storage are in boxes, with the blades oiled. But stuff that is used regularly will be good as long as they are well dried, and not kept in a humid environment.

I have a couple of the sleeves ordered, they should be here first of the week
