Stirling generator powered submarine

I find science and technology posts like this pretty cool. How some of our nuclear-powered, high speed trains, space propulsion.

If I can't leave the link, China has improved upon a submarine that is sterling motor power that has crossed an important benchmark for being viable long-term.

If you have any other technology, science posts or things of note please reply

Sweden has used Stirling engine generators in some of its submarines since the 1990s. I believe this allows them to stay underwater for a few weeks. So, this is not a new development by the Chinese. They probably "borrowed" it.

They mentioned the swedish submarines in the article. The key talking point is the improvements upon efficiency for longer term underwater viability
