Spring scent recommendations

Ok, Spring is here (in So Cal at least) and I am looking for Spring scent recommendations.

I just picked up a bottle of Florida Water from Walmart. The scent kinda reminds me of Spring.

Recommend something that reminds you of Spring.

Back when I would pay the money for it, I thought Acqua di Parma was a fantastic spring scent. Light and quality. Alas, since I retired I no longer want to spend that kind of coin for fragrance. But, it is a good one IMHO.

+1 - since 2001, that's been my spring / summer go-to. yikes!!

Green Chypres, pretty much any of these: Givenchy III, Chypre de Coty, The Ten Party, Acqua di Parma's Profumo, Chanel no. 19, Heure Exquise (Goutal), Miriam (Tauer), and so many more.

Also, orange blossom or linden blossom frags like Zeta, The Soft Lawn, Castile (Pen's), Fleur d'Orange 27, and many others.

And one of my favorites for summer: Guerlain Vetiver pour Elle. Trust me, if you haven't tried this, you'll be flabbergasted. You will wonder what the "pour Elle" is even for. Take the tobacco out of standard Guerlain Vetiver and replace it with orange blossom and you get one of the best - and most unique - summertime vetivers ever.

So many more to recommend but that's a good start. Oh, I might as well throw in some Le Labo Iris 39, Miss Dior, Diorella, Diorissimo, Dior Eau Sauvage (the EdT, not that confounded new EdP), Guerlain Mitsouko, Guerlain Sous le Vent, Guerlain Terracotta Voile d'Ete, and Guerlain Mon Precieux Nectar. There are really so many to choose from!

Parfums de Nicolaï Haute Provence, Santa Maria Novella Eva and Marescialla, Accord Parfait Ambre & Lavande, Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo and Piper Nigrum, Maître Parfumeur et Gantier Fraîche Badiane, XPEC Original, Carthusia Numero Uno, Parfums de Nicolaï Maharadjah and Carré d'As.

These ones I usually think of during spring. I like spicy scents in spring and some of these are kind of spicy.

What makes up a "Spring Fragrence"? What do you guys/girls use to make your decisions? I find my colognes I like all the time so I'm just curious what the qualifications are.

Cheers,

M.

If you just wanna stick to the stuff you find at Walmart, the only one that I can think of is Aspen Cologne., Its a decent Fougere for about 12.00 bucks.

Excellent question and frankly I'll wear whatever I want when I want but some fragrances to me echo the psychological feelings I have when Spring is upon me. For example, Monk by Storer is so dense that it is almost exclusively a winter fragrance and Wazambe by Parfum d'Empire has an apple/incense accord that is no doube autumn but that doesn't mean I won't whip them out in the middle of the hot and muggy July. Probably I won't but if I get a hankering I might. Spring is different because it's been so cold for so long that 70 degrees feels hot even though it's nothing compared to the months of 90+ degrees and 100% humidity I know is coming. But still, it is. And so something citrusy, light, crisp, and green really wears well. Much like the flowers that are out now (that weren't here a month ago) I feel like a change is in the air and my perfume choices reflect it.
