What's new

Spice Bomb Cologne

I was dragged to the mall last night. While she was looking at clothes, I stepped into the tiny corner of "men's" stuff in Sephora. I'd seen the advertisement for this new ADG, so I went to try it. No thanks. Pine Sol, Lemon Pledge and ADG... Okay, so ADG Essenza is off the list...

I then saw Spice Bomb and thought I'd try it. First sniff wasn't bad.. However, as this stuff settled it was as if I walked into the local Revco or Eckerd's and bought a large bag of pipe tobacco and rubbed it all over me. No bad from afar, but afar from being good. And something you get sick of quick!

Wait, Revco and Eckerd's closed down years ago....Maybe you prefer Walgreen's? No CVS, I can't shop a store that's not creative enough to come up with a name!

I like it a lot too. I think it was one the better designer releases of last year. Smells like a more evolved Halston Z-14 to me.

I got a decant of it...meh it's whatever. I wear it once in a while, but definitely wouldn't buy anymore. Also, anytime a name is so bad that I'm embarrassed to say what it is, that doesn't help.

I got a free sample of the stuff on my last order from Nordstrom. It's good and the wife likes it. I don't go out in the evening enough to warrant such a fragrance; pretty sure that it wouldn't go over well in the office.

I am not crazy about it but I have a sample, I put some on last night after I got home from work and SWMBO loved it. The dry down is quite please it is sweet and spicy not up everyone'sally

I'm also not crazy about it but I have received the most number of compliments from the ladies with this fragrance. It's too sweet for my tastes but I wonder if that's what the ladies like about it?

The name is bad, but the bottle is worse. It triggered PTFD one morning while shaving. I gave it away that day.........

Sampled da bomb at Sephora and was not blown away - pardon the pun! Nice but not interested given the cost.

I tried a sample of it at Nordstroms and it was OK. Seems to me to it's more suited for the under 30 crowd. Must say the bottle is one of the more unique ones I've seen in a long time.
