Speick shave stick

I can't believe I held off using this wonderful product ! Recently I believe I have matured enough after using multiple products that I know what I prefer - thick - pasty - extremely dense - slick - lather. And in seconds this product delivers. Before anyone decides to abandon all soaps (like I did in the past after using a couple of hard soaps) - I strongly recommend one to use this product.

have yet to try but dying to after receiving samples of their aftershave splash.
working thru a few soaps I need to finish. and unfortunately bought more Mikes. I buy soap bars, cut in half and mill separately and split the cost with my brother or coworker. thanks for the heads up

Considering the high quality of Speick soap, it surprises me that Speick doesn't make a puck. I'll just keep grating up the sticks until a puck comes around. Speick aftershave is pretty good as well.

Will be traveling for a buddy's wedding this week, and I can't wait to break out the Speick stick again.

Op pretty much sums it up. If you like a rich, slick, thick lather, then you'll like speick stick. And if you don't like those things, then you might as well be using body soap.

How does it compare to La Toja, which I like?

Having tried both, I like Speick better because of the scent and find it more moisturizing.

Both sticks give a nice thick, creamy lather. In terms of lather alone, its hard to pick one over the other.

Thanks for the info.

Also, I grate my shave sticks and put them in a container. I find it makes them easier to load for a greater volume of lather in 3+ pass shave. Both lather very easily, so the stick form shouldn't be an issue for face lathers anyway.

Do you soak it in hot water while showering? I tried it once and wasn't able to get the lather you describe. (Whereas, my Palmolive stick does produce good lather easily). Does it break in after using a few times?
Cheers.
