What's new

Speick EdT

I received a bottle of Speick EdT from Shaving.ie and all I can say is WOW! If you love the scent of the A/S splash but wish it lasted longer then this is what you have been waiting for. I have found my new spring scent. :biggrin1:

I too really enjoy the edt. It didn't seem to last too long on me, but I definitely enjoyed the scent substantially more than the edc.

i think Garry has carried it before

I bought a bottle last autumn. To my snoot, it smells way too feminine for a man to wear. Reminded me of that 70s "Love's Baby Soft" that my lil sister used to bathe herself with.

sorry to revive... So I LOVE the AS and cream scent (and balm , to a lesser extent)- and have heard that the EDC isn't even close- should i go ahead a snag the EDT? and where can i find it?

^I can't find this stuff anywhere.

So I emailed an online retailer who carries most of the Speick Men's line about special ordering the edt. The response was that the US distributors are not carrying it--yet. Not great news for those of us that wanted to try it without paying hideous international shipping.

This is true, the US distributor does not carry it and I'm not sure why. It clearly isn't because it's an alcohol based product since we can get the aftershave just fine. Your guess is as good as mine.

I am a huge Speick fan, but haven't tried the EdT or EdC, but I love the AS balm, AS Splash, shaving stick and shaving cream. and BTW, the bar soap smell just like the AS splash and balm, lathers great and is sold in three packs to the overall usage cost is reasonable. And it ALL seems to have some kind of magical healing power on the skin!

FYI -- check out Amazon for a German company (Talea) that sells the whole Speick line (including a few items not available in the US) at 25-35% less than the US retailers. The international shipping is $12, but if you are ordering over $50, you will save money notwithstanding the shipping. My package was stuck in US Customs for 3 days, so I'm not sure I'll do it again (plus I would prefer to support one of the smaller US companies specializing in wet shaving).
