Was looking at my techs and I have a pre war and a post war but I have a Spanish tech (Marcas Regs) and it has the oval holes like post war but has the flat top base like the pre war. Does any one know why? I just don't understand that they changed the dies (oval holes) but kept flat top.

Mine isn't a travel set but Mr. Razor has this picture.
As you can see it has the flat base top like the pre war
