Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable L-2
Blade: Wilkinson Sword
Brush: C&E Super BB made by Edwin Jagger
Bowl: Georgetown Scuttle
Cream: T&H Rose
Aftershave: SCS Savory Rose Splash
Hair: brush and water
Balm: Lucky Tiger Tonic

Hardware: English ball-handled Tech w/Derby blade, B&B LE Butterscotch brush, Weller bowl

Software: Dave's Mystic Lavender Glycerin Preshave, AOS Lavender soap, witch hazel, Aqua Velva AS, SCS Oakmoss Lavendula EDT.

First time with my little butterscotch treat. Lathered the AOS just fine and the English Tech seems to be an appropriate razor with the Kent brush. That and it's been a long while since I have used it. Right now I getting a nice bloom on the brush and that good stinky badger smell.

Life is good this fine Sunday morn.

Great shot! how do you like your Thater and more so; what do you think of the Weltmeister?

Josh, I'm real particular when it comes to shaving brushes. Like most face-latherers, I like soft tips with a lot of backbone with a shorter loft. My concerns with the Thäter was that it would be too floppy. I was wrong. It is a superb brush with unusually soft tips with more than enough backbone for the face-latherer. Highly recommended! :thumbup1:

The Weltmeisters/Word Masters are just terrific vintage blades. I don't think any serious vintage blade shaver would disagree with that assessment. The one in the pic was re-scaled and refinished by Max Sprecher, one of the best restorers around. Highly recommended! :thumbup1:
