Some Oldies

This a.m. I was talking to a friend and we were reliving part of our past.

We remembered all of the creams that you could find in any drug store. Such brands as Noxema, Kingsman, Palmolive, Gillette, etc.

I used to take the tube of Noxema shaving cream and put in a mug of scalding hot water for a few minutes. The cream would ooze out and you would get an incredibly good shave. Lots of lather and a warm, comfortable shave - and not much cost.

I remember using my Grandpa's Williams and Colgate pucks back in the 1970's as a elementary school boy and it was supper slick. My Granddads would lather my face and let me "shave" with a SE handle and no blade!
