What's new

Some of my pipes

I have only recently figured out how to consistently take pictures which "aren't terrible" so these are far from perfect. I hope someone will enjoy them anyways.

I realized after I started this that some of my other fancy pipes are on display at work so taking pictures of them will be difficult.:blushing:'

Here are some basket pipes instead.

That's all for now.

Only took pictures for one more pipe today. Not my best pics, either.

I got this in a lot with some other pipes. Wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it grew on me.

Everybody ought to have a Poker/Cherrywood style pipe IMO.

Why? I just bought one (Hardcastle Walnut), but is there another reason other than look of the style?

Had my 1st smoke from it last night. 40 minute dog walk -- smoked well.

Having some glare problems. I guess I still need a lightbox.

I bought this one new off ebay which as it turns out was a bad idea - The pipe I received was not the pipe in the pictures. While the pipe in the pictures was nicer, the one I received wasn't terrible and I hadn't spent very much so I decided that it wasn't worth my time and effort to ship it back after talking with the seller.

Love the GBD and Comoy. What three knives are we looking at? The small one almost looks like a customized Chris Reeve Mnandi, but I've never seen one with thumb studs.

Because of the distinguished look, the ability to sit and stay, the timeless style, and the sheer awesomeability.(That's a real word, look it up. If it's not there, it should be)

You're a mod, so I'll take your word on "awesomeability" -- why should I check on that. Right?

I think I may have been looking for some post-purchase confirmation. The ability to sit factored in the purchase as well. While my pipe time right now is mainly bi-pedal, as soon as opening day swings around, I'll be spending time kicked back in the yard listening to the Reds on radio.

Thanks.

I had to check the pictures and you are right, only three knives visible in all of these pics... I have some others that I guess are only in my watch photos at the moment, that's why I had to check.

Hopefully pictures taken with flash/fluorescent are OK.

Maserin Consoli
Briar Wood scales, blade CPM-S35V, spine and liners have beautiful filework. lockback. Fit & Finish very impressive (my pics won't do it justice any time soon) and I can't believe the price... you can easily pay a lot more to receive a lot less. Feels like a smaller knife, but blade is still just over 3.5".

Maserin Trigger
Olive wood + satin finish scales (aluminum?), blade 440A a bit harder than normal (56-57), locking mechanism is essentially a lockback but is operated using the lever/trigger thing. Pocket clip is blued.
