Some new soaps

Just bought some now soaps and got a refill on the FAT, I've read good things about the others. The thing is these are the first sticks I would be trying. I would imagine you just soak them and rub them on your beard. Face lather as usual? Any tips on these soaps and how to use sticks would be cool. Thanks

1 - Palmolive Shaving Stick

1 - Arko Shaving Stick

1 - Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap Refill

1 - Tabac Shaving Soap Stick 100g

Wet your face, wet the tip of the shave stick, rub the stick on your face, dip tip in water when needed, and start the lathering.

Enjoy!

I have used Speick stick and a TOBS stick. The technique is pretty much as you just described. For the Speick, dip it in water, rub on face, face lather. It doesn't need to be soaked, just dipped in the water. If it drys out, then dip it in the water again. The TOBS was soft enough that I didn't need to first dip it in water. I have also used Williams in the same fashion - water, rub, face lather.

+1 on the above tips. I find that the Arko and Tabac are really thirsty--I either gradually yet frequently wet the tips of a just damp brush, or simply start out with a very wet brush--given that they are potent lather makers. Moreover you don't have to use much product. Palmolive lathers easily and well, with no special treatment. The Mantic video on MWF has worked for me (I face lather): wetting the puck surface for a few minutes, loading a just damp brush but wetting the brush tips as required for a good amount of time (60+ seconds under my conditions, or until a thick/rich paste forms in the brush). Have a great time with these terrific soaps!
