Just came back from a club I belong to and my wife and I were sitting at the bar waiting for another couple to arrive. The bartender was about to mix my usual martini when a fellow near my asked for a "Smoky Martini." I had never heard of that one so I asked the bartender what it was. He said he mixes a quality gin together with a smoky scotch (about two teaspoons) and then garnished with a lemon peel. I told him that this reminded me of the drink a "Silver Bullet" and he said the only difference is that a smoky scotch is used instead. Well, I tried it - and wow it was good. Don't know if I can have more than one - but that had in intriguing taste.
