??Simpson??

Not really into brushes though but been wanting to buy a new small brush and couldn't make up my mind. Either the Simpson: Case, Special, or Wee Scott? I face lather and prefer a best grade brush any recommendations or comments on how these perform is appreciated.

The only one I have is the Case in best badger. I got it as a travel brush, but the first time I used it, I knew that my Vulfix #375 Super Badger was not going to see hardly any use. It is a great little brush. I use it almost daily. It has a wonderfully dense knot, a good back bone, and very soft tips. While I can't compare it to the others you mention, I'd have no qualms about recommending the Case.

I'm a big fan of the Simpson Special. It's a great small travel size (total height around 90mm), but I've been using it daily for a few weeks now. I'm a bowl latherer, and it can be a bit of a lather hog. I think it may work better as a face-lathering brush. Great backbone, and surprisingly soft tips.

Same experience here:001_smile

Thanks for the comments, still undecided but I think the wee scott is a little too small for me so I'll go with the others. I just wanted to know how they hold up and how soft they were. I do like some backbone as I have a Muehle in Best(Don't know the model) and it's a little on the floppy side.
