Shea Moisture Utility Soap.Anyone try this yet?

I've used it, I have 2 bars of it stashed in the bathroom. It's a great shampoo bar... awesome shower bar... do your face a favor and do not try to lather it for a shave... Unless you have baby fine whiskers, and skin like Superman.

The only lather I could get after many many attempts over a week of trying was airy, light, and would dry out to flaking in the time it took to set the brush down and pick up my razor.

I was able to get reasonable lather, but not great. It has another problem though. The fragrance, although lovely at first, becomes overpowering. When showering with it, the aroma lasted until the next shower the next day. The aroma from the bar even sealed in a zip log bag that my wife asked me to get it out of the bathroom. I have not tossed it out yet, but it was double bagged and moved to a linen closet where there have not been any additional complaints, yet.

Scent is such a subjective part of soaps. lol The scent of this one, for me, was the biggest reason I even bought it to try. :)

Great, thanks...my wife has already put up with so much of the other shave soaps...I'll spare her this inconvenience.

Tried the soap and liked it. I haven't lathered up with it yet...nice smell to it and yeah it stays on you for a while.

I recently tried the soap for a week long business trip. I used it in the shower for my body and then used it to lather up my head for a shave. It worked great for the fine soft hair on my head but have not tried using it for shaving the face.
