Hi - being new to this list I was wondering if people ever did their own thing with shaving oil?
For example: Jojoba oil which is considered to be an exceptional moisturizer add a bit of tea tree, a drop or two of your favorite essential oil. It would give you your own personal shaving oil. For example I like the smell of mint and a drop or two gives a nice aroma in the shower. If you like eucalyptus oil, or perhaps tangerine oil. I think they are both antiseptic. You can find essential oil's in shops and have a whiff.
The reason I ask is I have tried this and seem to work quite well for me. But I don't know if there is any down side.
Plus if you don't use the oil for shaving you can always use is as a massage oil for those days where everything has gone wrong for that person you love
