I came across this site, shaving.ie, linked from Semogue.com. Has anyone from the U.S. shopped from this site? How was the experience? Some of their prices are less expensive. How long did it take to receive your orders, as I see they are located in Ireland.

Service to Australia is exceptional - the prices are terrific and the shipping costs very reasonable.

Shaving.ie is a B&B vendor. I've ordered from Chris several times with no issues. It took about a week for my last order to arrive from Ireland to me here in SoCal.

Service to the U.S. (West Coast) is much quicker than I expected.
I have used Shaving.ie for several different orders and have been very pleased with their service. They are one my preferred vendors.
I usually received my orders in about 5 business days - keep in mind that it does have to go through customs. I have ordered from vendors in the states and it takes that long if not logner.

While we don't have to pay VAT in the U.S, more than likely your CC company will charge you a fee for currency conversion (should be around a few dollars).

Chris is fantastic. He's on holiday until the 31st of August so you might have to wait a week or so for your order to get shipped.

Thanks for letting me know about the CC fee. I called my CC company to ask about this and they said the Foreign Transaction Fee would be 3%.
This is only pennies to have such a great savings.

Some items are significantly less expensive and the shipping doesn't hurt much either. From Shavinge.ie (and Connaught, Vintage Scent, etc.), it takes about a week and a half from order to delivery.

I have had great experiences dealing with Chris. Shipping was fast and the prices were great. A bottle of Floid Genuine broke while being handled by USPS and he promptly provided me with a replacement. Excellent customer service.
