Shaving Cream on Etsy

Has anyone heard of etsy? There are a lot of smaller vendors selling homemade shaving cream and soap. I haven't bought anything there because I cannot attest as to the reliability of the vendors. If anyone has bought anything from these small vendors on etsy, is their shaving cream worth the money?

There's an etsy vendor named The Local Pig with a relatively new cream that seems to get great reviews.

Good luck if you take a chance on anything and let us know your results!

there is? I haven't seen too many "great reviews" on it. I've only see 1 good lather pic and decent feedback on it, the rest say it disappears before you eyes

i know it's new, he's still working on the formula, but I'm not ready to put out $15 for it yet, when I get get Mikes or MW or QCS for around the same price.

I believe there are a couple proven "Etsy" soaps that are well regarded and proven, but the names slip me right now.

A quick search brings up these threads as well, which have some more etsy discussion:

Check out the Mundus brand, Jennifer is a pleasure to deal with. These soaps and creams are made with tallow and lanolin, perform really good, great scent choices. I enjoy them a lot. Right now her shop is closed until Saturday.
