Shaves 1-3 with a Souplex blade.

I have finished my third shave with a Souplex blade and am really, really impressed. They may not be quite as sharp as Gillette 7 OC Blacks, but incredibly, they seem at least as smooth.

My first shave was with the Progress set at 3, which IMHO is a relatively aggressive setting. I felt the blade, but no tugging. I got a close and smooth 2-pass shave. But what was remarkable was that I felt only a mild AS sting. With a new blade in the Progress @3, this is surprisingly mild result.

The next two shaves with an Aristocrat and a Merkur 12C, gave smooth and close shaves. The second pass gave an "is there a blade in the razor?" moment. But even more special was that after each, there was virtually no AS sting at all.

I am very impressed with these blades.

Souplex is in my top-3 for years now; I need an extra (3rd) pass with them for a good result but they are so smooth that my skin feels better after a 3-pass shave with a Souplex that after a 2-pass shave with most other blades. They definitely deserve more attention at B&B than they get!

Probably has something to do with them being somewhat hard to find.
