Shavemac Handle Scratch Removal

Hello! I have a relatively new shavemac handle and was using a marble bowl with it.

While whipping up lather, I scratched a part of the handle. Is there any way to remove it?

Here you go, they are not super deep. I am wondering if I can just use a polishing compound to get rid of them.

YMMV, but I’d never let an expensive brush anywhere near that bowl. It’s basically sandpaper.
I agree

Highly rated on Amazon is like highly rated on AliExpress.....it means nothing. If he had checked verified reviews and 1*, he would have seen this "Awkward to use, rough interior will damage your brush.". It was one of the first negative reviews that popped up.

That bowl looks like a torture device of some sorts not for shaving use.

I would not attempt a repair of the brush myself. You will up doing more damage or remove the shine. Have RV (or ask Bernd) do it or live with it.

Amazon items are fine for the most part. You just have to weed through listings and reviews.

Certain things I won't touch on Amazon, regardless of cost or ratings (camping, safety, auto parts). For the most part, stick with name brand stuff. Obviously a shaving bowl wouldn't fall into name brand items but you are more likely to get a bowl designed and tested by wet shavers if you buy from a shave shop. @Captain Pre-Capsize bowls comes to mind. All his stuff is tested by forum members before they hit the market.

Folks just an update. I bought a 3M paint scratch removal product and that did wonders.

All visible scratches are gone. Leaving it here for anyone who has similar issues.
