Shavemac Customer Service?

Just curious here...

I placed an order with Shavemac. It's been sitting in customs (not the first time this has happened to me... always seems to be with Fed Ex) for the last four days waiting on Shavemac to send the correct customs form. I sent them an email as well but haven't received a response. It seems reasonable to me to hear back from a business within a few days especially after placing a $400 order with them. I'm not really concerned at this point, more curious....

Has this happened to other people on here?

Are there issues with the customer service from Shavemac?

I placed an order that was shipped early last week. I received it yesterday. No issues with customs for this or any other Shavemac orders I've placed (I have had customs issues w/ other orders coming from overseas).
Bernd was very helpful during the process though at times it take him a couple of days to get back to me. Perhaps language is a factor in the delay (?). You could try giving him a call though the time difference doesn't make it easy. Shavemac ships regularly to the States so it's a bit surprising to hear that they did not submit the correct forms. It may take a little while but Bernd has a good reputation and I'm sure it will get sorted out.
It's frustrating enough waiting for the items ship (we want it now! :)) much less having to wait on some unseen forms to be submitted.

Thanks. I order things regularly from outside the US and honestly it seems the common denominator is FedEx. I never have problems with USPS/DHL.
