Just had straight shave no. 6 and it was a lot better. A B&B member sent me some lapping film samples and after a few strokes on an 8000 stone, I used the green 1u film. Big improvement!
The blade glided through the cheek and neck hair so I even ventured on to the upper lip and chin. Went very well on the upper lip, but I still need to find that golden angle on my stubby chin whiskers. Very pleased with today's shave and the edge that came off the lapping film.
I'm still finishing off with a DE but its getting less and less. Left hand is getting used to holding the razor now too.
