Shave grade toggle w/out case on evilbay

Anyone see this?? BIN is $150! I would love to have a toggle...shaver or show piece....but $150 for a far from perfect one? I don't think so!!

I have one and honestly I've never gotten nearly as nice a shave from it as my Red Tip SS. It was handed down to me by my grandfather shortly before he died so it has a lot of sentimental value, which keeps me from selling it. But for the money, they're way out of line in terms of value as a shaver. Beautiful razors though.

I picked up this decent example on eBay for just over forty bucks about a month ago. Not sure why it didn't go a bit higher, other than the Seller's pics made it look like it had worse/more plate loss that it does. Sorry for the pre-cleaning pic, I've not shot it since I cleaded it up. Great shaver!

I would gladly pay $50 or so for a shaver toggle...but the listing I found is for a toggle in poor shape w/out case for a BIN of $150?? I hope no one will fall for that!!

For $150 it must be perfect or pretty darn close!

As far as shaves go, I got rid of my Toggle shaver and only kept the collector piece for its relative rarity and novelty.

It's all relative...a Schick dial injector went for $177.50 (complete with genuine plastic handle)....

The Toggle looks like a Tadpole to me!!!

I sold my shaver-grade Toggle for $55 here on the BST forum (exactly what I paid for it).....I found that it's shave was essentially the same as a Fatboy and saw no point in keeping it when someone else might appreciate it.

Now, if you want my mint condition boxed '58 Toggle, it would cost a little more.....:wink2:
