Sharp Stainless

Well I just tried the Sharp Stainless. Very different. I did my normal routine. Decided to keep shaving with Tabac to keep all variables the same. On the first pass wtg it slid right over my face. So much so that I still had plenty of whiskers that wasn't cut. On my second pass xtg it did a fine job of trimming the whiskers. On the third pass atg it took the whiskers down to nothing. I did some touch up on my neck area. This blade really worked well with my face. I think it helped that I stretched my lower neck as I only had two weepers. The razor burn is just a little bit, not enough to notice unless you think about it. I followed up the shave with some Dickinson's Witch Hazel (ew gads this stuff smells like grain alcohol). Splashed on some Tabac aftershave which gave me a momentary sting. But sitting here my face feels incredibly smooth. It feels great. I'm going to keep my eye on this blade. I really liked the packaging. I have so many blades with glue smudges on them because the blade is wrapped in a single wrapper. I like the Sharp being wrapped in a double wrapper.

So the only think I changed today in my routine was soap. I used Mama Bears Autumn Afternoon instead of Tabac. The first pass was smooth alright because it was only cutting 50% of the hair. I had to do multiple touch ups on my lower neck again. I had to use multiple angles on my neck to shave all the hair. For this I was rewarded with a nice, deep red neck full o' burn. Topping it off with a palm full of Skin Bracer actually felt good; I invited the pain of the alcohol why? Because the menthol was nearby to cool my skin. My skin feels really soft and moist right now but is sensitive in some areas. I really liked the first cut but I need a razor that can give me more than one shave. I don't think Sharp is going to make the list given today's outcome.

The Sharp blades are generally regarded as being "one shave only" blades. Shave with it, and toss it!!

I am not particularly fond on these blades either; they are servicable to a certain degree but they ended up in my 'reject' drawer and I use them up with only WTG passes and finish the shave with a better blade.
