Shark Super Chrome?

I was checking out NTGuys stock and I came across these. Has anyone tried them? I'm looking at giving a new blade a go and I'm at a toss up between these, the Blue Birds or the Astra SP's.

These are quite regularly used and have been discussed quite a bit around here. Many, inlcuding myself, find them to be a great value for an every day shaving blade.

I see no functional difference between the super chromes and the super stainless.

I have been using the Sharks as well , but On NTGuys reccomendation , I tried the Bluebirds and I like them even more so than the sharks. I even ordered a second box of 100 from him last week. Bluebirds are my new favorite blade. I find I am getting a more snooth and extremely close shave.

Shark SC are my to blade. I shaved around 9am CST today and 12 hours later, my face still feels freshly shaven! :001_tt1::001_tt1:

I like the Shark SC as they give me nice shaves. I read the reviews when I got into DE shaving and bought a hundred of them. I used them to get my technique down and then got a sampler pack so I could actually tell the difference when I switched blades.

This is definitely a case of YMMV. The bluebirds feel like im dragging a month old rusty bic disposable across the face. I tried more than one blade and could not finish a shave with them.

I've been using red pack personna or the Thai gillette super thins on a regular basis. The Shark SCs are still in rotation but not as frequently.

The sharks are awesome blades! But I have found the Rapira in the blue, black and pink pack (thanks Nemo) I find them to be on par with the russin 7'oclock yellows. And they are as cheap as the sharks.
