What's new

Sent an email to Lee 40 days ago

I find the fact that sooooo many people can't get in touch with this guy absolutely ridiculous. I was thinking very seriously about ordering a brush at one time....not anymore. The brushes are beautiful & I'm sure he does wonderful work but I'm not dealing with the lack of communication. Unless something drastically changes, I'll just order another Simpson brush when it comes time.

My latest order took about 6 weeks till I finally heard back from him. Tried multiple email addresses and everything. Eventually out of the blue he started responding with pretty good consistanly. Supposedly that order was supposed to ship yesterday. I haven't heard. Dropped him an email and just hanging on for a reply now. We shall see what happens.

It was reported in another thread that some emails were ending up in his spam folder and the issue is now fixed.

Drop him another email.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but who's Lee?

He's the man behind Morris & Forndran shaving brushes.

I can't explain his spotty communication. I had no problem on my last brush with him in May. Relatively quick replies and had my brush in 5-6 weeks.

When my attorney doesn't respond for weeks to my email, it means he's in jail again.

Weeks? Wish I had that sort of SLA from my clients! In some cases, if I don't action the task (never mind merely acknowledging receipt) by COB, things get escalated. Favours are called in, strings are pulled, and notes are taken for later use at performance review...

I think there's some sort of secret code or language that he responds to. My first email to him was answered quickly. My second...never. I sent another...nothing.

Gave up. Love his brushes. Own one I got off the BST, but I'm not going to chase someone down to spend that kind of money.

I think he may just have an aggressive spam filter. Last week I tried contacting him from my gmail and never heard a thing. Two days later I tried from my .edu and got immediate responses. I ordered and paid for a brush that I'm patiently waiting for.

Same situation, me and him were emailing back and forth solid....

My second email was never responded to.... I imagine he just gets behind and figures if it is important it will be sent again? Not sure, but if you are too busy to answer emails, I would venture to say hire someone to do it for you, there is no way he is poor, lol =]
