Semogue SOC 2 band

Hey all, my current favorite brush is the soc boar. I also have a "mighty midget" an Edwin Jagger best badger, and an 1800 boar. I'm looking for something a little softer and bigger than the EJ. I'm thinking the SOC 2 band. If anyone has one can you recommend it? is it a good step up from the EJ? I bowl and face lather. I had a Shea moisture brush and it was too floppy. I want something I can use on hard soaps as well as creams.
Thanks
phil

I have the SOC cherry boar and I recently ordered the 2 Band...can't wait to get it. Did you go ahead and order it Phil?

I ordered it yesterday from vintagescent. Along with a stick of la toja. Can't wait to try them both

I have the SOC 2 Band with Cherry handle - for the size brush it is - I'm doubtful that you're going to find anything comparable for anywhere near the price.

I ordered one from vintage about 6 weeks ago, I took a couple of weeks but I saved about 30 bucks. This is my first badger brush, I'm used to the 1305 boar. They both do a good job for me. I face lather and The soc does a good job, has plenty of backbone, loads well, holds plenty of soap for 3 passes, does what I need. Keep in mind that I am no expert but for 60 bucks I think it's I nice brush

What about the SOC in Super Badger? This brush is barely any more $$ than the 2-band. Is the Super the better of the two?

I have both SOC brushes, the 2 band is an amazing brush, dense, doesn't hog lather, great back bone, soft, beauuuutiful handle - SOLD
