Semogue 2015HD SB

A few weeks ago I purchased a Semogue 2015HD SB. I likethe feel of the brush but it does not part with it's lather very easily; in fact sometimes I have to squeeze the lather from the brush with my hand. I am using Prorasso shaving soap which does lather up pretty well. I have tried using a bowl and I tried applying straight to the face but the brush still wants to hold onto that lather. I have read shaving brushes do have a running in period so to speak but I have used the brush at least 20 times or more by now. I do tend to paint the lather onto my face when I make it up in the bowl but the brush holds onto the lions share. Is this a problem with the brush or could it be the way I am lathering up the soap, any ideas welcome.

You lather could be too dry in which case the brush have a bigger tendency to hog it, or maybe try this trick and see if it will help.
