I have had this sitting around for a long time. Probably sitting around at my grandmothers even longer. Would this be from the fifties?

Fantastic brush, one of the nicest Batons I've seen. Give that baby a Spa Day and put it in rotation. It could be even earlier than the 50s. Take a good look at the bottom and see if there are any lathe turning marks. Also check to see if it is a Catalin handle. I have one very much like that but stamped with the <E> (Diamond E) and no one really seems to know who made the <E> brushes.

That is one NICE vintage brush! I’m with @jar_ , give a wash and use it to build new memories.
