SCS Scents

I'm wanting to try a few of these scents. What are your thoughts on them? What's good? What's bad and what scents smell like what store purchased scent? Do they seem to last a good while?

I have tried a few -- overall, they're good scents.
Several of them tend to be sweet compared to similar competitors. (comparing say, SCS Bay Rum to Ogallala Bay Rum.)
But there are several that are very nice. I especially like "Aspect" -- a fresh, green/woodsy scent, that for some reason reminds me of T&H Trafalgar.
SCS longevity is not great, but is inexpensive enough so that you can reapply without feeling that you're wasting money.

I think Sue's juices are very solid performers at a great price. I find that I wear SCS more than my more well-known edts. My favorites are Oakmoss and Lavendula, Blend 2-11, Very V, Savory Rose, Bulgarian Rose and the discontinued Embrace.

The quality is there and the price is right, if you are looking to get into frags.

+1 on the Oakmoss/Lavendula. I like the Smoke and Beads as well, but I realize it's not for everyone. All in all, I like all of the SCS frags I've tried and don't think you can beat them for the money.

The Bulgarian Rose/Rosa Damascena is great. It is a seasonal specials.

It is kind of like a C&S 88 and/or Dark Rose, but is not as dramatic or as potentially off-putting as the former and I have not had enough of the latter to compare. It starts with lots of interesting notes, but evolves and dries down to pretty much a pure dark rose, which is by itself inherently complex. It has good tenacity. Very much a true rose scent, but dark enough be masculine.

I have the New Spice, which is a very "warm" scent that is reminescent of A*Men, but a bit sweeter perhaps. If you like patchouli, try her Smoke and Beads -- it is very good, but powerful. I have bottles of each. I also have a sample of X4 which is a nice fougere, a bit sweeter than Panhaligon's Grafton but very nice. I have found them all to be long-lasting and pleasing to my lady. And as the others have mentioned, you really can't beat the price.

New Spice is very potent; a little goes a long way. It's very sweet and caramel-ly.

I think Arrimarse is a nice scent. Longevity is not anywhere near as good as the New Spice, but I like the scent better.

My wife nixed the Dagger, but I liked it pretty well.

Those are the only three I've tried, and of them, I like Arrimarse the best.

+1 on the Rosa and Dagger grew on me. It evolves into a nice Tobacco leave scent.
