Scored a toggle last night. It is gold plated though. After I receive it and get it cleaned up it might get replated in black rhodium. I am excited to see what all the fuss is about.
Welcome to the club. I would do it in gold again not black.

I say anything BUT gold!
you are lucky my friend. i was talking to that guy and talked him to the price you bought it at. he didnt tell me when he was setting the sale as a bin and you got to it before me. congrats on the steal lol seems like you will get more use out of it than i would have.
I saw it and sent him a message asking what he would take as a buy it now and thats the price he told me, so I said I'd take it.
Is that also a so-called "red dot"? Note the adjustment mechanism.
Next time have the buyer set it up as a best offer, Otherwise if someone has a snipe price set up for less then the buy it now price it will be a done deal , Always ask the seller to change the listing as a Best Offer and to accept your offer to seale the deal. Lesson Learned ?
From my understanding, all toggles are "red dots." Actually, more accurately, all "red dot" fatboys are toggles, in that Gillette used the guts from the toggle as the prototype for the adjustable, which is what the "red dot" fatboy is. After they finished the prototype stage, they redesigned it into what became the fatboy. I also think there was a short time when they produced the "red dot" fatboy and sold it, but I don't think it was for long.
