Just got a scope. Need to work out the kinks. First pics of my pocket knife. Waiting for a stand for the scope to focus on razors.
I ordered a stand to hold the scope itself. The one it comes with is not at all functionalIt takes some work, and experimentation with lighting. The right lighting is critical for getting rid of the grain. You can play with all kinds of things, like colored plastic binders and tracing paper for filters, or using several soft background lights at different angles to balance the harshness from more direct lighting.
I know. I have not shaved with that one for a bit, I have been trying out some stones and the edges coming off those.Can't wait to see what is happening to the immortal TI of 1000 shaves.

If the main scope tube can be dissasembled it can help with the contrast by blacking out the inside of the main tube.
And as SiBurn says, lighting is critical! Getting a scope will now likely make you OCD about your edges!
