Any info on age would be appreciated. I'm going to shine it up a bit and give it a shave sometime soon. :)

A lot of Schick Injector info regarding dating there. No Wiki - you still have to do some reading and match up bits, but good info nonetheless.

Thanks for the link! That makes it an E2 from 1935-45 era.

It anyone is interested, I know where to find a carmel bakelite handled cased in a brown bakelite box for $95... Was to rich for my blood.

That seems rather steep, even for a cased. Just out of curiosity -Did it look like this one?

I'm going to call it an E1, due to the shape of the head spring.

I don't know the model #, but a piece is broke off under the head.

No, in the 3rd picture he has the spring swung open for cleaning. This model made it a very easy operation. The spring rotates counterclockwise to allow removal of the safety bar piece.

It is missing in Pic #2 and the picture is cut off on #3. It looks like it was broke off, but the piece that makes it turn is still on.

What I'm seeing in picture 2 is that the spring is an earlier, flat type that you don't see in the later models.

In picture 3 it's been rotated out of the view.
