Sandalwood + Witch Hazel

Hello all,

I've been using WH (Thayers unscented) since I started DE and it's great. I actually have given a bottle to my teenage daughter and it has helped her a bit with breakouts. Great stuff.

As a result, I dropped my ASB and went with Proraso Green with witch hazel. I love the light scent of the Proraso but I would also like to find a Sandalwood A/S splash with witch hazel.

I know TOBS makes a SW but no WH in the ingredients.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Buy a sandalwood aftershave that you like, and add witch hazel to it. Or buy a little sandalwood EO, FO, or even cologne and add it to your witch hazel.

I do both of these, though not with sandalwood. I add a drop or three of Speick EdC to my cheap drugstore witch hazel, to cut the raw scent. And I cut bay rum with witch hazel, to improve the skin care and reduce the burn. I also add glycerin to both. Try small batches at first, a few tablespoons or something like that, until you find the proportions you like.

Excellent suggestion, but do you know where I can find the proportions? My perfect A/S would have a high % of alcohol along with WH and Sandalwood EO. Thanks.
