Sandalwood Soap

My father was up this past weekend and he is also a wet shaver.

I let him try my AOS Sandalwood soap and he loved it so much I let him take it home with him, but now I am missing my Sandalwood

I am thinking about going with AOS again, but wanted to see if anyone had any other recommendations before I did? I have tried a number of different sample creams in Sandalwood(T&H, Trumpers, and TOBS), but the AOS is the only soap I have ever tried.

How much are you paying for a puck, and how long is it lasting you? I can make a 3 ounce puck vanish in under 2 months.

I'm a big fan of Trumper's Sandalwood, but I haven't tried the AoS. The Trumper's is one of my better performers though.

The Trumpers is a good soap, but doesn't hold a candle to the AoS IMO. The lather from the AoS is more slick and cushioning.

I had been thinking about trying the Trumpers, but I am just affraid that it will not live up to AOS.

You guys have sold me on the AoS Sandalwood soap. I want to try a puck. Where's the best place to buy it? The nearest AoS is 50 miles from me and also will a puck fit in one of the Pyrex glass bowls with the red tops so many guys use around here? I don't really want to spring for the bowl unless I have to. Thanks!

AOS sandalwood is one of the best soaps available. I would replace it with AOS sandalwood.

Thanks everyone for confirming what I thought I should do in the first place.

Klarion, it is available on the AOS website and I called my local store(ATL) and they said they had some as well.

Also consider the fact that the scent of the Trumper sandalwood is muted bordering on non-existent. The AOS is much more pronounced.

I've just started working at an office a short walk from the AoS on Madison in NYC. I've been desperately avoiding it as SWMBO is less than positive about my current displays of AD.

I'm using, and liking, the TOBS sandalwood and yet I now feel I must go to AoS and get their sandalwood...

(Note to self: Only take cash, leave cards in office...)
