Salter Sandalwood

I tried a tub of Cyril Salter sandalwood shaving cream. Very nice. Very nice. It will be hard to use anything else until this is gone.

I'm surprised that this cream doesn't get more chat in this forum. It is inexpensive--about half the price of other luxury creams. It lathers wonderfully, smells like sandalwood and soap, and gives a great shave. What's not to love.

I'm a huge fan of their vetiver. Salter has some unique interpretations of classic scents. They're a great, if underappreciated, company.

I have an unopened tub of the sandalwood.... this post makes me happy about that. I wish I'd known what Vetiver was when I found Salter.

I am too a fan of Salter's... I have their Essential Lime scented cream and it lathers and smells fantastic....
They ARE under appreciated and mostly ignored by many shavers... a pity that is... My next tub of cream will probably be Salter's again. I like it that much!! 15 dollars a tub is an excellent deal too.........

I'm no help. I'm a fool for sandalwood and similar tones. I find it hard to imagine mint shave cream--I might be tempted to brush my teeth with it.:001_smile
