Well a few weeks ago I was able to head to the river with some roe (salmon eggs still in the skein) under a bobber and brought in a nice upriver bright (very chrome skin and very dark meet) of 27 inches. This buck fought hard, and was very good in my family's bellies.
The run is all but done here in Eastern Oregon, but will start again in a month or so.
