Saint Charles Lime AS and AS Milk ---- and Witch Hazel?

I just got my samples of Saint Charles products (and a freebie, too!). My usual routine is witch hazel, then a balm (like Trumper Skin Food).

I've never used a splash. I have the lime splash and balm/milk Wow, the lime splash has alcohol!! I certainly could feel it.

I really love witch hazel, and think it has done wonders for my skin. I plan on still using it at night, but if I use it the SC splash and balm/milk, should I still use the witch hazel? Or will it severely dry my skin?

Thanks!

PS I placed my order and saw that Sue was in the hospital. Before I could email them and tell them to take their time, I had a confirmation that the order had been shipped. Wow... and double wow!

I don't think you still need witch hazel, the milk contains WH.

The splash does contain perfumers SD alcohol (not isopropyl). If you find the burn too much, you might try using less and apply to still wet skin to dilute it some. It has panthenol which is a very good emollient for skin.

Use a light touch with any of our aftershaves, a little goes a long way and should last many months. You can apply a balm or milk after a splash it you prefer but again do not use too much.

Hope this helps, if not feel free to ask by PM, email or here.

I don't think there's any problem with witch hazel followed by the splash, in fact it might be easier on the skin than eliminating the witch hazel.

Wendy has been a real trooper keeping on top of things while I was on forced 'vacation'.
