I got a bit of a rose scented shave cream recently and have become smitten with the scent. However, I prefer soaps, maybe a superlater now and then. Suggestions for best rose scented soap, preferably tallow-based?

I do not like rose and therefore have no rose soaps, but it seems that Geo F. Trumper's Rose shaving soap is one of the favorites around here.
QED's Wild Rose is pretty nice. Good luck finding some though. It's not a regular offering anymore. I sure wish someone made one that smelled like QED and worked like Harris or AOS. Tallow rules.
Trumpers Rose shave soap is very nice. The soap is now tallow free, but Trumpers did a very nice job with the reformulation. Get yourself a puck!
I think Trumpers Rose is my favourite soap- smells fantastic and performs brilliantly.

I have a 99% new puck of this. I wonder what it would fetch on the BST? SWMBO hates florals.
The jury is still out with me...I like the lather but I'm not sure how I feel about the scent.
QED Wild Rose is by far the best smelling rose soap I've encountered, but my face just can't handle all the fragrance oil and it burns from the moment I start lathering. So if your face is tough as nails and you have $20-30 to shell out, put out a WTB and get some of this goodness.

I've said it before and I'll say it again -- I'd be happy to take that tub away from you (just to make your SWMBO happy, of course). My PM door is always open.
I just got laughed at when I put out a WTB for QED wild rose. The humiliation still stings. You know what would make the pain go away? PM with an offer to sell me some QED wild rose.
Can't help you with tallow, but Mama Bear, Honeybee, Kell's and Pirates Cove are a few that I have used and enjoy.
Put me down for Trumper's Rose. It is a regular in my rotation and combined with Trumper's Coral Skin Food, ooh, la la.

Klar's Kabinett is a rose scented soap, non tallow. Available in America from Royal Shave.
I just tried Susie's Bubbles and Squeak Sandalwood Rose and its very pleasant. I have a feeling it will be a standard in my rotation.

Krissy's Prairie Creations just opened up shop. She has spent many months working with the gentlemen here to develop a high quality tallow based shaving soap. She offers a "fresh cut roses" scent.
I have no experience with her soaps, as she just opened up, but for $5.50 per puck, it would be worth a whirl:
