I have an EJ Best and Rooney 3/1 Super so I can only give you that perspective. The 3/1 is my all time favorite brush. Even over some of my more expensive brushes. Soft, great backbone and density. The EJ best I'm going to give away. Just doesn't have the density I like and a bit floppy. I haven't tried the EJ silvertip but I myself am not going to purchase the EJ silvertip based on my best experience. Granted this is a different brush so hopefully you get a better comparison than I can give. I'm curious to hear myself as I don't see much on the EJ Silvertips so you've piqued my curiosity.
