I found this Friday. Any input on the type or style? I could not find any maker's mark on it.

If there are no markers on it, it may be too much to ask for more info, but it’s still a nice looking item to go handsomely on your desk.

The wood seems extremely light in weight, the metal casting is either brass or bronze, though it does not have the strong "brass" smell. There may be a faint scent, but not much at all. When I take the old blotting paper off, the wood might reveal more, but I'm not doing that yet.
Nice blotter! I would bet it was part of a desk set. Wood could be mahogany based on the grain. Get so.e new paper and put it to work!
