RIP Donald Sutherland

Iconic actor Donald Sutherland has passed away after a long illness, at the age of 88.
The star of more great films than could be listed here was a class act, and will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace sir, and thank you for the countless hours of enjoyment watching you perform.

Very sad to hear this.

Excellent actor, with great versatility and presence.

His first appearances were as bit parts in early-mid 1960's English TV dramas and he can often be found in old re-runs, if you watch carefully. He first appeared in Hammer horror movies in film, with Christopher Lee.

A wonderful and storied film career followed.

May his memory be a blessing.

Great memorable roles that only a highly talented, eccentric actor could consistently pull off. From Kelly’s Heroes to Space Cowboys, roles that I cannot picture any other actor making so iconic, and enjoyable.
