I most likely will. I like the simplicity of how it sounds. I just got my first bottle of the original Eau Sauvage edt and aftershave about a month ago and I'm loving it. I think that the vetiver in the original is what really draws me in. It gives a very nice classic, clean feel. The ES Parfum has me intrigued with it's dry vetiver base. Thanks again for your review.

Just checked out the review-very good. I like vetiver notes quite a bit and have original Eau Sauvage. The myrrh/vetiver combo in the parfum version looks interesting so I'll add this one to my sample list for sure.
Great stuff even if it doesn't smell like regular Eau Sauvage at all. Fraicheur Cuir is also worth having.

Difficult to name a favorite from my collection. I like every one of them for a specific reason. If I have to choose one I think I'd go with Eau Sauvage 100% Glacon, luckily I have a 6.7oz backup bottle (not pictured above) of that one. Smells like old style (brown boxed) Eau Sauvage with some added menthol (and likely a tweaked formula). But once those two bottles are finished I guess it's almost impossible to find another bottle as it was limited edition from 2001. Too bad French eBay doesn't allow Dior fragrances to be sold. I guess there should be a lot of unused Eau Sauvage sitting on shelves in French homes.
Fraicheur Cuir while very nice will not be replaced once finished. Its opening notes aren't as bracing as regular Eau Sauvage. Prices on eBay for Fraicheur Cuir are rising, I'm not willing to pay a premium price for it.
Eau Sauvage Parfum really shines in colder weather but it's a powerhouse fragrance, two sprays maximum will last for 12+ hours. The 100ml bottle is gonna last me a long time.

Hmmm... I'm a huge fan of the original ES but didn't like the new parfum version much. It's certainly not a bad fragrance at all, to be honest, but I can be extremely picky and this one was just a little too heavy on the myrrh for me. That said, I don't know if I've ever worn it in the winter, which might make a big difference.
