FS Replated Gillette President Y2 & Samples

For sale is a Y2 Gillette President for $175. It has the standard Rhodium handle with the Nickel Head. I had it replated by Chris At Backroads gold and used 1x since so the same way as I received it from Chris. Included will be Backroads Gold box and certificate as shown. Please note the underside is replated but not polished per normal replating standards. It just isn’t getting the use it deserves and I am thinning my razors out. Great looks, weight balance and grip with this handle IMO.

I’ll also add a free fresh 1oz sample of the new Barrister and Mann Fall Scent - Nocturne & a tuck of Astra greens from India.

Funny thing I have the same razor replated and it looks frosty underside of the head as yours does.

Thanks for your feedback. Yep this is standard I believe and am guessing so all of the date codes and writing isn't polished off. It is plated as the whole razor was. I may have caused more confusion mentioning it in my post but wanted to be upfront about it.

In the end it is a very nice condition razor and the polish job is great - no scratches or micro scratches. Looks like it was plated and polished yesterday. The Rhodium handle and high polish nickel is gleaming.

Chris from Backroads Gold is probably the highest regarded re-plater on this site. He’s a nice guy and easy to work with.
