I have seen that before but thanks for posting -- it was about time to watch it again! When Bliss' video first came out I must have gone through it at least a dozen times.
Back then there was some controversy from at least one other professional juggler complaining that Bliss' routine didn't include any really fancy stuff and any decent juggler could do better. So that guy put out a competing video. Well, he certainly was a virtuoso juggler but came nowhere near the artistry of Chris Bliss. Bliss' act is pure poetry.
The other guy seemed completely oblivious to what made Bliss' video so mesmerizing. Hard to believe someone with that guy's physical talent just didn't get it. It was weird -- like some heavy metal rock musician trying to demonstrate how Beethoven's Ninth would be better at a faster tempo with some fancy electric guitar licks thrown in. Maybe instead of that boring old second movement it would be better to have a 10 minute drum solo while the rest of the orchestra filed out for a break!
The most unrated juggler of our time: Michael Moshen.
This guy received an honorary Physics Degre. He's the hands for David Bowie in The Labyrinth. I know his sister and they are almost identical. I've seen footage of him as a kid with Pen & Teller when they where children. He went on a more artsy path and never made the big fame.
