The Osage freeze is a wonderful thing! (never experienced the head shave freeze, but i can assume it's uber-brisk!)
I recently went to a no-guard buzz on my head. Hairline is "retreating" bad. Haven't gotten the guts to take it down clean though. I actually bought a headblade that remains under my sink. However, when I do...always said the first AS i'll use on my head is Osage.

Go for it brother! I started when it was unnique and cool (about 15 years ago) but now keep it going because I too have a "retreating" hair line. I love it. LOVE the smooth feel.
I used a head blade for a while. I prefer a regular disposable... Still not ready to try my DE razor. The head has a LOT of turns to it! LOL.
And yep, Osage on the shorn scalp is awesome!
